Professional Landscape Maintenance conference slated for Jan. 24 in Tyler
Program includes demonstration on proper pruning techniques
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Earth-Kind Environmental Education committee in Smith County is hosting its annual Professional Landscape Maintenance conference on Jan. 24 in Tyler.
The conference will be held at the Cotton Belt Building, 1517 W. Front St., Room 116. The cost is $10, and registration is available by calling 903-590-2980. The deadline to RSVP is Jan. 23. On-site registration will begin at 8 a.m., and the program is from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
About the program
Participants will learn about soil fertility, interpreting soil analysis and nutrient applications, and identifying common landscape diseases found on local landscape plant materials.
There will also be a live demonstration on using proper pruning techniques on common landscape plant materials.
