Wildfire preparedness meeting scheduled for Feb. 13 in Canadian
Attendees can meet with professionals, community leaders
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Roberts and Hemphill counties will host a wildfire preparedness meeting Feb. 13 in Canadian.
The meeting, open to local ranchers, landowners and community leaders, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hemphill County Annex, 10965 Exhibition Center Road.
Cost is $25, which includes lunch. Registration is requested by contacting the AgriLife Extension office in Hemphill County at 806-323-9114 by Feb. 11.

Experts from across Texas will be on hand to provide critical insights and actionable strategies for managing wildfire risks on ranches and rural properties. Attendees can also meet with professionals and community leaders to discuss collaborative approaches to wildfire preparedness.
