The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and OneOp will host a webinar, “Creating Accessible Youth Development Programs in Military Communities,” on Sept. 11 from 10-11:30 a.m.

The free event, part of the Military Family Readiness Academy, will take place on OneOp, a virtual professional development platform designed for providers serving military families. 

Participants can register by visiting tx.ag/YouthDevelopmentPrograms. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing the webinar link. 

About the webinar

The webinar will explore how camps, 4-H and military youth services can support the well-being and growth of all young people, including those with disabilities. 

Participants will learn best practices for accommodating youth with disabilities and practical strategies for creating accessible and supportive environments. Speakers from AgriLife Extension and military-connected programs will share real-world examples and resources to help service providers enhance their programming and promote meaningful participation for all youth.

This webinar is part of the Military Family Readiness Academy, a comprehensive series designed to support service providers working with military families. The 2025 academy will address the critical issues of adolescent well-being.
