About the food preservation workshop

Participants will be taught how to prepare food for water bath and pressure canning. They will follow a tested and approved recipe, and will be able to take their canned products home.

Additionally, participants will learn about different types of canners and how to prepare different high-acid foods including fruits, tomatoes, jams, jellies and pickled products.
