International dishes help bring variety to meal preparation

Esquivel said the course’s goal is to help participants learn to cook nutritious meals using international-themed recipes to add variety to daily meal selection.

Taught by Esquivel, participants will learn how to cook dishes from India, Mexico, the Philippines and Poland. Recipes will include vermicelli kheer, ensaladang pipino, kolaczki and tacos de cochinita pibil.

“Participants will love these new cooking styles packed full of flavor, and at the same time, healthy,” Esquivel said. “This course opens everyone’s eyes to how delicious food from other countries can be while making them from home.”
