AMARILLO — A personnel management conference will be hosted in Amarillo on June 3 by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
The program, “Background for Success in Human Resource Management,” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at 6500 W. Amarillo Blvd.
“This is a great opportunity to learn from Dr. Bernie Erven with Ohio State University, one of the most well-known personnel management experts in the country,” said Dr. Steve Amosson, AgriLife Extension economist in Amarillo.
Erven has spent most of his 36-year career focusing on employee management and family business relations, Amosson said. He emphasizes practical take-home ideas that managers can start using immediately.
