The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will present an online Aquatic Vegetation Identification and Management program from noon to 1 p.m. on June 9.

The program offers one Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education unit in integrated pest management for those seeking CEU credits.
The cost is $10 for those seeking CEU credits and free to all others. To register, email Chris Lambert at the AgriLife Extension office for Bexar County at christopher.lambert@ag.tamu.edu.
“If you need CEU credit, email Chris your pesticide license number as well,” said Sam Womble, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent, Bexar County. “We will send you login instructions for the program. All you need is a valid email address and internet access.”
Womble said the program will be presented online via Microsoft Teams and cover various aspects of how to identify and manage different types of aquatic vegetation. It will be presented by Womble and Brittany Chesser, AgriLife Extension aquatic vegetation management program specialist and lead diagnostic scientist at the Texas A&M University Aquatic Diagnostics Laboratory, College Station.
