Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is hosting the “Cooking Well with Friends” class on Oct. 6 in Waco.
The cooking class will be from 1-4 p.m. at the AgriLife Extension office in McLennan County, 4224 Cobbs Drive.
The cost is $50, and preregistration is required by calling the AgriLife Extension office at 254-757-5180. The cost is payable at the door in exact cash or by check.
Course instructors are Ashley Cox, AgriLife Extension family and community assistant agent, and Colleen Foleen, AgriLife Extension family and community health agent, both serving McLennan County.
“This a great opportunity to gather together and learn while also having fun,” Cox said. “Additionally, participants will take home three freezer meals they create during the class. Each meal will be six to eight servings, so the cost of the course is a really good value.”
