About the training

The program is designed to prepare foodservice managers to pass the ServSafe examination and provides education on the safe handling of food, sanitation, food flow, hazard analysis critical control points (HACCP), and how to prevent foodborne illnesses.

HACCP is a management system that addresses food safety through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards. It addresses the production, procurement, and handling of raw materials, as well as the manufacturing, distribution, and consumption of the finished product.
