Hall earned a bachelor’s in animal science and a master’s degree in agriculture, both from Sam Houston State University. While at Sam Houston, she was active in the Block and Bridle Club, Beef Cattle Show Team, Horseman’s Association, Horse Judging, Delta Tau Alpha and Ranch Horse Team.

Other previous work experience includes assistant barn manager for royal rabbitry, equine care specialist with Katherine Anding Performance Horses, and drug testing technician with the American Paint Horse Association.

Hall was active in the Montgomery County 4-H and Conroe FFA programs. She exhibited beef heifers, goats, poultry, horses, food and nutrition, and photography projects.
